Visual Intelligence Challenge: The Poor Man's Store

As we move throughout the day from one task to the next, it’s good to slow down, be in the moment and observe the what that is right in front of us, to really see and not gloss over important details that are easily missed.

I believe this exercise will surprise you and over time you will be able to strengthen your observation skills so you can notice the vivid details in all parts of your life.

Challenge Instructions:

1. Take a deep breath to settle into the moment.

2. Observe the painting below.

3. Make a list of all the details you notice.

4. Challenge yourself to list as many details as you can.

5. Try taking a break and returning to look at the painting with fresh eyes to see if you notice anything new.
