Rituals are meaningful practices to help bring more reflection, calm, and presence into our lives.
Rituals help us feel more engaged with the world around us, and most importantly, they help us reconnect with ourselves by infusing our days with intentionality and purpose.
Rituals have the power to make the mundane more meaningful.
We all have rituals we value, even if we aren’t aware of them.
I cherish the ritual of waking up a few hours before my family wakes up for some quality “me” time.
The smell of the coffee as I take my first sip.
Meditating to the hums and sounds of the room.
Writing my thoughts down for my newsletter.
These small things help me do something for myself before the noise and responsibilities of the world rush in.
Of course, life happens to us all, and many days I don’t get to have the quiet personal time I desire, which makes the rituals even more precious.
