New podcast episode: Taking action to make opportunities with Candice Yee
www.lowfidelity.io
Kon'nichiwa Hi friend, I hope you’re doing well and are staying safe as we go through another phase of COVID. Hopefully, it passes by quickly and we can begin our reintegration into society yet again. Today I want to share the latest episode of the Low Fidelity podcast in which I have a conversation with Candice Yee, a product designer based in Toronto. What I love about Candice’s story is that she takes action instead of waiting for things to happen. When she moved to Kuala Lumpur, even though she didn’t know anyone in the UX field she took the opportunity to start a Meetup group to connect and network with fellow designers and practitioners. This was not an easy thing to do being an introvert in a new country but she did it however uncomfortable it was for her. For me, that is such an inspirational story and something we can all apply in our lives. We can all have a bias for action even in the face of the obstacles and fear that we are faced with.
